Good call on the kick catch interference.

The penalty isn't for anyone hitting the returner, it is because the man catching the kick has the opportunity to complete the catch which wasn't allowed due to the defender right in front of him. Returner signaled fair catch and then he bobbled it, he is still allowed an opportunity to complete the catch after the bobble which he wasn't.

The foul wasn't on number 41 the first guy, but on number 8 the second guy.

Second. In the past, The only time I ever liked AtM was when they played Tejas and now I had Root for them in the SEC (great year btw) and Gotta admit I like to watch Johnny Football play.
