McNabb Lands Madden Cover
Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has landed a deal with Electronic Arts to appear on the cover of Madden NFL 2006. The Madden game is the top-selling video game in the U.S., according to the SportsBusiness Journal. McNabb also has deals with Reebok, Campbell’s Soup, and the Lincoln Financial Group. The first player to be pictured on the cover was Eddie George of the Titans in 2000. George was followed by Minnesota’s Daunte Culpepper, Marshall Faulk, Michael Vick and Ray Lewis.

Rumor has it that Madden will freeze up every 19 games or so.

So about week 7 McNabb goes down with an injury?

Madden 2006 had better be a damn sight better than Madden 2005. ESPN 2K5 blew away Madden for 1/3 the price. The only way EA could compete was to completely overpay NFL Properties for exclusive rights to put out a poorly concieved peice of crap for 3 times the price it should be.
