As far as that.50 cal goes, I got to pull the trigger on an Armalite 50 on Sunday. Kicked like a fucking mule, but made a 1500 meter shot with it. Seriously bad ass weapon.

MK211 is only sold to military/LE. I'm sure there is some out there that "fell off a truck" or something and there are also a lot of counterfeits. API is available but not nearly as effective as the Raufoss rounds.

Usually anything other than an honorable is a deal killer as far as being in law enforcement. Something else is going on there.

The way I read is that he was kicked out of the Navy Reserves after getting fired from the LAPD. Maybe lost his security clearance as a result and couldn't continue in his role?

I think his discharge is fairly recent. and people don't get OTHs for losing their clearance. He is just a chip on his shoulder nog. Someone needs to shoot that chip off, then do the same to his melon.
