The weather is absolutely incredible this time of year (basically, year round really)... so, it's time for a little College Football.
In the 60's here today in the San Francisco Bay Area and crystal clear blue skies.
Cal finally has a real coaching staff... one that had the highest scoring offense in the country last year... and put up 57 points on Texas A&M.
More than Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas combined put up on the Aggies.
Let the "BearRaid" era begin !!!
Day 1

Let m2 have his spring football, cause we all know the fall follows a very predictable pattern.

LaTech - 116th out of 120 teams in scoring defense last year.

Enjoy your 5-7 Bears in 2013.
Last years defensive team was made up of mainly freshman and sophomores, and some juniors.
Didn't stop them from going 9-3 last year.
The year before... he had the best defense in the conference.
Just imagine what he will do with Cal's talent on defense. You know, Cal's program that has more players in the NFL than Alabama.
Nice interview with Sonny
after the first practice...

Not sure what this has to do with BTCFB,
Is critical thinking really this much of a challenge for you southerners... I mean, did this just fly over your head without even the slightest thought of how to catch it ???

Obviously I don't watch enough TV/movies.
Obviously, you have no clue to the correlation.
... and frankly, it's not that challenging.
Give yourself a 1 on the TB1 Wonderlic Test.
At least you passed admissions for Alabama.

Hey, m2, just wondering why your new coach wasn't profiled in SI this week and instead they went with Taco Tech's new coach?
I though you had the hottest young coach that is redefining offenses as we know them? What the hell?

Cal will win the spring national championship as well as the one in the fall.

They'd better pick up the pace because I hear they're 0-2 in spring scrimmages so far. The scout team was running Oregon's offense and kicking some ass. Apparently there's still room for improvement.

Good to see that Cal draws as many fans for spring practice as their actual games.
Tell me, when their RB's queef, does it echo in Strawberry Fields Forever?

Cal plays games? I thought they just awarded them the crystal ball every year because they're just so much better than everyone.

First it was SI and now it is ESPN that is disrespecting your new coach m2. ESPN has moved Taco Tech's opener to Friday night so a national audience can watch his first game as HC. The release talks about how he is at the forefront of young offensive minds and is leading the new wave.
Man, that is two national titans of sports coverage that don't understand Cal has the best offensive coach in the country.

If they all throw at the same time there's more chance that one might be catchable. I guess.

It's all working out great. You see, they have given up more yards and points than just about everyone in the nation. They've scored less than anyone in the nation so if you flip the offense and defense then they're undefeated. Cal has a better 3rd down conversion % on grass fields that run north and south than any other team in the nation. They lead the nation in punting yardage against the wind. Hell they're already booking travel plans for the national championship game.
