Sounds like Smart will be in high demand and will command a pretty good paycheck is he elects to leave VCU. Tubby's team had plenty of talent but underachieved this year, and that usually falls on the coach. His team had no heart and, despite the talent, only finished 8-10 in the conference that included some wins over the top teams and losses to some of the bad ones. If you punched them in the mouth early and often they'd fold like a tent in 50 mph winds.
