I thought the South was the Personal Responsibility Belt?

Oh, look what we have here, the ever-educated and ever-enlightened South taking up six of the top eight spots for highest disability ERRRR the New Welfare rates.
Why can't these assholes just stop sucking off the federal teet and pull themselves up by their bootstraps? At the very least, these assholes should be getting paid by the states themselves, because after all, it is a state's rights issue, since the Southern states devalue education so much.

2011? Nothing beats current information.

If a disability claim asks a southerner to carefully read a form, two years behind is about as current as your going to get.

2011 is pretty damn current for this type of data. I looked, but couldn't find anything for 2012. I doubt there's a huge difference from one year to the next.

Kind of like gubment. Tell me you knew, Appalachia boy.
The increase in disability claims appears to be directly related to a bad economy and changes in welfare laws signed by Bill Clinton. Read your NPR article again. Slowly. And perhaps with the aid of a dictionary.

I know. I actually listened to the segment. Did you?

At least it taught me not to get married three times. Sorry you're destined to be a three-time loser.

Why buy when you can rent? I guess you're the type that has to get burnt before learning not to stick your hand in the fire. The rest of us see idiots like you and learn from that.

Could be that digging coal and making moonshine are just more dangerous than hula dancing and singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

I'm not exactly sure, but I know you're in Wolfman/Mace/Goober/Mikey territory. So I'll go ahead and put the over/under at 90.

Leave it to Screw to equate disability to education. As if a doubling of education spending would reduce disability claims.
You really should think about the stats you just throw up here. Maybe on first glance you thought you were going to hit those in the South that value personal responsibility. In the end you do just the opposite and make their point for them.
Sadly, more than 1 in 5 blacks in this country are on disability. Further, 55% of blacks in this country live in SEC country. No wonder they lead the country in disability claims.

Listen to the story, Morry Povich. The doctor in BFE Alabama asks all his disability patients for their highest education level for a reason. Education level directly influences the disability candidates.

Not bad for a Georgetown flunkie.
