Interesting new law making its way thru the Florida Legislature. it would require abortion providers to provide ER level care to any baby alive outside of the mother. In about 2% of abortions the baby is alive in the office after the Dr and mother attempted to end its life. In most of these cases the baby is placed in a saline solution and drowns rather quickly.

The law would require Drs performing abortions to have certain ER equipment that would assist the baby in its breathing and heart beats.

Abortion providers of course don't agree with this law, nor does planned parenthood. Drs claim it will cost them way too much and as such it will put many out of business.

In testimony before a FL legislative committee on person asked the Dr why they don't just slit the babies throat? He followed that up with a question to the dr about ways to die and remarked that if drowning in saline solution is acceptable should the state use that for death penalty cases. Of course the Dr answered no.
