What a shocking development, said nobody.

"Well, this is just appalling! We can tell you one thing right now, we're going to conduct a thorough investigation and if we find even a shred of truth to this, Auburn University Troy University is going to be punished severely."

What's the penalty for SEC business as usual?

Are you trying to say that there's cheating going on in the SEC? Say it ain't so, Joe.

From what I remember of the Cam Newton investigation conducted by investigative reporters, not the NCAA, the problem goes way beyond Gene Chizik.

If the SEC gets penalized this should open it up for Cal to make it to the national championship game.

Oh well. No fun for at least a decade.
I'd disagree with the "every other college" comment but would agree that the teams who are consistently at the top are likely cheating in one way or another. Urban will bring a new level and far more sophisticated form of cheating to the B1G and it will be interesting to see if the other schools adopt the attitude of "if you can't beat them, join them" in order to compete.

Selena Roberts is the reporter who got the Duke lacrosse story all wrong.

She's gone from SI and the NY Times to a two-bit blog.

Perez Hilton has more credibility.

True, her credibility is about as solid as...Auburn's. So how about we call it a wash and see how this plays out.

Oh look, now there's this:

We all know Chizik was a good conservative family man and none of this could've happened on his watch. :meds:

Gee, Sam, what makes you think that? Maybe because Cam's daddy was shopping him around to the highest bidder and the NCAA said "nothing to see here, folks." Yeah, I guess they'll come out "just fine" from this too.

I thought Cal was already guaranteed one spot in the game.

I guess this could open up the other spot for them.

Maybe their spring game could be a preview for the national championship game.
