swabbie is kind of dated. squid is more contemporary, although it was already in wide use when I joined almost 30 years afogo. titlover may be correct. i think grunt may just mean infantry dude, be he Army or Marines. The Navy has infantry dudes too. They are called Seals aka, badass mofos.
I'm not sure what you call chairforce dude other than fag. But, it's not like they are in the military anyhoo.

Pretty much why I enlisted.
Don't really care what you call me since whatever it is will be out of envy. During the years I spent in it, can't recall ever hearing anyone say, "You know, Sarge, I regret joining the AF. I woulda been better off enlisting in the
<insert inferior service branch>." But I
did know several people in the AF who were prior-Navy. They were straight, so I'm sure Navy life was tough for them to adapt to. Glad to see you have no such trouble.
