That depends. Are we using the Mgo Methodâ„¢ or the Van Method?

Please. The "Van Method" is the only system officially sanctioned by the IREWGB (International Rank 'Em World Governing Body).

Do NOT bring any of that other trash in here.
:x

I'm sorry, but The People have spoken. The IREWGB recently convened to take a vote, and the obsolete "Van Method" was struck down 5 votes to 17.

When it came to a decision between curling irons or gun stabilizers for T-34's...

...my comrades knew the sacrifices they had to make.

My dad who was a PT boater in the South Pacific had a funny pic of the first woman he and a bunch of swabs had seen in something like 6 months- a female officer from the Philippines in full uniform ringed in and surrounded by at least two dozen guys smiling from ear to ear like wolves seeing the open door to the chicken coop.

The gal just staring straight ahead with a look about her like she's about to be forced to walk through a swarm of stinging insects.

I'm sure most D-Day vets wouldn't mind...except for the Canadians of course...and some of the British. Oh yes, and Australia: founded by the products and perpetrators of prison buggery. Come to think of it most Commonwealth troops are more interested in shagging each other than fighting but that's beside the point...now let's see something decent and commemorative.

That's why they got inland so quick, as opposed to staying on their beaches.. and fighting. And fighting and fighting. It's actually a diplomatic way of looking at things.

I see. You Canucks blew through the gerry defenses because it was the only thing separating them from a little bivouac manloving. The yanks on the other hand were more interested in killing krauts and hanging around for a fresh bunch of krauts to kill.

Yeah, that makes sense, I suppose.

CUT!

Announcer: And next the men of the Second Armoured Division regale us with their famous close order swanning about.

Sergeant: Squad... Camp it ... up!

Oooh get her! Whoops!
I've got your number ducky.
You couldn't afford me, dear. Two three.
I'd scratch your eyes out.

Don't come the brigadier bit with us, dear,
We all know where you've been, you military fairy!

Whoops, don't look now girls,
The major's just minced in
With that dolly colour sergeant,
Two, three, ooh-ho!
