a lot of college town kids are ready to do something else. i grew up in Norman, loved OU....but i went somewhere else. been in Norman all my live up to then....Norman high schools send more kids away than to OU. but, great get for Bama.
that being said, Norman North is a made-up high school...to compensate for all the sudivision cul-de-sac kids and minivans....endless subdivisions north of real Norman....it's Super Target Norman....not the college town Norman. Norman High baby. Ryan Broyles stealing gas, keepin it real in No-Town.
good luck to the kid. North had a kid who played QB for Ohio and Frankie Solich who was pretty good, too.
even though he's a pussy for playing for North (which is a made up high school).
