Unfortunately he wasn't really acting in his swan song, Killing Them Softly, where the Brad Pitt character cuts him loose. Good flick. But as a student of American organized crime, I could never get into Sopranos. it was far too false and soapy.

The dude was a walking heart attack waiting to happen.
It's too bad when you work in an industry where your public image requires you to maintain an unhealthy lifestyle. At least he was paid well for it.
