Wasn't it just a few months ago that four 'Bama players got arrested for some robbery / thuggery / you name it?
Or did Saban's response retroactively erase the fact that he recruited those guys?
Yo Sam, maybe we should pocket this thread until something actually happens at OSU, what you say?

Urban is a snake, no doubt, but I wonder if this is more a state of Florida thing than an Urban Meyer thing. That state is a cesspool and always cracks the top 5 nationally in crime statistics. I'll take a wild guess and say he recruited far less troublemakers at Utah and BGSU than he did at Florida.
Also, in these creepy cultish little college towns like Tuscaloosa and State College, where virtually every single person lives vicariously through the football program, including all levels of law enforcement, you wonder how much "stuff" gets swept under the rug for the sake of winning.

so somehow Aaron hernandez still plays for Urban Meyer...I see how that goes...
so Rolando McClain should trace everything back to Saban?
Carruth to McCartney? Rayenthal to Jimmah? etc, etc...yeah let's just do that...
oh and not too mention how David Perkins a LB out of Indiana was KICKED off the team for a 1st transgression not long ago...convenient how you didn't mention that...?
Alabama fan talking shit about recruiting scummy players...that's rich

How so? Just use your sentence and sub out a couple of words.
Fulmer was notorious for bringing bad apples onto campus at Tennessee.

Ohio State's Nightmare... will be waiting for them in "Strawberry Canyon" in a couple of months
Far left...
Brendan Bigelow — 4 carries, 160 yards, 2 TDs
Now that I've fired Fatfurd... he'll be getting more than 4 carries a game.

They're all going to lose to Stanford four times.

The Bears are going to be ready... will Ohio State be physically ready to keep up with one of the fastest, most well conditioned teams in the country?
Cal will have the coach and offensive coordinator that put up the most explosive offense in college football last year, a coach and OC that put up 57 points on Texas A&M last year.
Wonder how that coach and OC will do will the NFL talent Cal has... and not a bunch of 2 star scrubs like they had at LA Tech.
Just a little summer "workout" in Strawberry Canyon.

So when Cal loses this game what will the excuses be?
1. We got bus lag driving up the hill to the stadium
2. We got locker room lag because the walk to the field was too long.
3. It's just another loss on our way to another national championship
4. Ohio State cheated because they flew in a really nice plane.
5. Ohio State cheated because they left early and got used to the time change.

I am still laughing at Cal with all this current NFL talent...
they won what 4 fucking games last year...
yeah I am sure Braxton Miller, Corey Brown, Roby, Shazier, and specifically Urban are shaking in their boots at the thought of FLYING west and shit stomping a pathetic JV squad...

You won't be laughing after the buckeyes visit to Strawberry Canyon this summer.

You and every buckeye fan out there knows that if Fatfurd wasn't the coach... you lose to Cal last year at home.
The thing is...
... will play Cal's best players, and won't have them sitting on the bench due to seniority.
Oh yeah, Maynard won't be the quarterback... the #2 ranked high school quarterback in the country 2 years ago, will be.
not to mention, this guy will be getting more than 4 carries in the game.

wake me when Cal proves dangerous
so Bigelow had a big day...SLOW FUCKING CLAP...
yeah Cal has the #2 ranked QB from TWO years ago and he couldn't beat out Maynard? Gee then Braxton Miller is utter shit...
fucking OSU will wax these pathetic fairies...
and when you talk about Strawberry Canyon it just gives off an air of non-curbstomping atmoshphere...almost like the Cal players will show up in pink tutus and ballet shoes...
fuck off...

4 carries is a big day ???
You're in for a big surprise in a couple of months.
buckeye_in_sc wrote:yeah Cal has the #2 ranked QB from TWO years ago and he couldn't beat out Maynard?
buckeye fans... don't scout their opponents too well, do they ?
You are aware that Maynard is the half-brother of Kennan Allen, right?
He was promised the job by Fatfurd, if KA went to Cal.
I fired Fatfurd... so this won't be a problem this year.

Here's the video
Check out the mystery holding call at the 3:07 mark that took a TD away.
Then the mystery personal foul at the 3:38 mark... that ended the drive with another missed field goal (3 misses in all from out shitty kicker)
There goes 16 points. (The final score was 35-28)
Watch the whole video.
You win... getting to watch the buckeye fans melt in a couple of months.
Should be fun.

The hold actually occurs before the circle was drawn around the player. He held back between the 32 and 25, preventing the player from turning 180 degrees or at least slowing him down. The hold call is in my opinion pretty poor from that one view.
The helmet to helmet block is completely the correct call. That could also result in a disqualification for the cal lineman this season.

The only difference?
What about:
I don't post photos of gay friends.
I don't sell wind chimes.
I don't post pics of illiterate athletes.
I don't post pics gathered from Google searches to illustrate the differences in my area and Florida.
I don't suggest daily that my 6-6 team woulda won the MNC if not for a bad call and a tough bus ride.
You would might if you were a Kal fan.

Well deal with it SWIFTLY and AGGRESSIVELY...pending the facts coming out...
Hyde = suspended indefinitely (per OSU)
Roby = facing disciplinary action pending facts
Baugh = no summer aid and sitting out first game for underage drinking and fake ID
Gardner = got the boot apparently
hey he dealt with it...next man up leggo

He'll be back in time for Cal.
Last year their star LB was reinstated right before the Cal game. It'll be the same this year.
