Van's around and as ok as he can be, by my estimate. Lots of hospital visits for himself as well as his mom who isn't doing too well.
Not sure that he's keen on me adding my 2 cents here but eh, life is (or can be) stressful enough and genuine concern deserves a response, in my humble opinion.

He did indicate that he doesn't really know what to say, so often says nothing. I don't know about you guys, but that doesn't stop me from bugging him.
