an update after recovering from a broken collar bone.
Last I checked, the Rockies can swing the bats fairly well. Good to see my man crush is none the worse for wear after the aggravated assault by Quentin.Player Note Sat, Jul 13
Zack Greinke delivered an outstanding performance in Saturday's victory over the Rockies, tossing a complete game shutout, scattering just two hits and a walk in the process.
Advice: Greinke fanned nine on the night, needing just 110 pitches to compete the gem. He needed to be every bit as good as he was too, because Tyler Chatwood was terrific on the other side of the diamond. Greinke has now tossed 16 consecutive scoreless innings over his last two starts, posting a 16/3 K/BB ratio along the way. After a slow start, he'll head into the All-Star break with a 8-2 record, 3.49 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.
