Let's stay with the kicking game since so many strange things happen on these plays.

1) Harvard is trailing Yale by two late in the game. They score a TD and and elect to go for two. The have the ball placed in the middle of the field for the snap. The Harvard RB runs to the left side and just prior to being knocked out of bounds at the one his facemask is grabbed and turned by a Yale player.

Is the try over? If not, what yardline and location between or on the hash marks is the ball next put in play?



2) Yale is punting to Harvard from the 50. Prior to the punt the Yale upback holds a Harvard player attempting to block the punt at the Yale 45 (behind the LOS). The punt travels to the Harvard 10 and is returned 70 yards to Yale 20.


What if any options does Harvard have? Where would the ball next be put in play?
