Sort of like how AP has had "YMCA" stuck in his head since '78?Trampis wrote:My wife has had that "Sky rockets in flight" song stuck in her head since 75 or 6. Thats worked out well for me.

These guys were influencing me, too:
Mikey and Sam, it's good to see a ref to Firesign Theatre. I played those albums dozens of times, always best listened to through headphones. Got to see Proctor and Bergman on stage live at the Celebrity Theater here in Phoenix. They performed most of their best bits, like Ralph Spoilsport and of course, they did the entire Nick Danger bit. Hysterical and cool to watch them go through the voices and sound effects. They did a hypnosis skit and my buddy got pulled up on stage to be their foil. He go so turned around and disoriented that he couldn't find his way back to his seat. It was pure comedy brilliance.Mikey wrote:Damn. I still have that album and a bunch of others (RACK Nick Danger, Third Eye).
I'm so proud of my kids that they actually can quote some of that stuff.

Jesus, we ended up in Mobile one night when we were riding around Montgomery listening to them!
