Bucky vs Buckeyes

Props to tOSU. The Shoe is a tough place to play on a Saturday night.

Props also to the Buckeye defense for shutting down the three-headed rushing monster.

Giving up a long TD pass with one second left in the first half was like déjà vu all over again.

Stave is still a work in progress. Looked good much of the night but the pick when they were still only down by 10 was a killer. I think this was maybe his 12th start. He'll do fine.

I see tOSU running the table again. Wisky finishes with 9 or 10 wins and a visit to the Capitol One or Outback. I'm confident that ESPN will make sure that they're matched against Arkansas.

Stave is solid. I'd take him over any of the shitdicks MSU has trotted out under center so far.

Props to Wisky for sacking up and getting the cover. Never at any point did I feel good about that pick, just wanted to go against the grain since everyone else loaded up on OSU.

Yeah, his clock management skills have shone through 2 times so far.

Dude is too dumb to be a starting QB. With a minute to go, it takes him 30 seconds to run a play?

He's a fucking idiot. Wisky should bench that fucker.

Whereas on the other hand, Chris Borland has grown up to be fucking amazing. A top-notch stud, who is going to make A bad NFL team very happy.

Can't comment on the exact situations you're referring to, as I was pretty blasted by the time that game rolled around, but from everything I've seen from him to date, he's pretty decent. Certainly for what they want to do, he's their best option.

Borland is good. Good enough to be called the second best MLB in the Big Ten.

I'm a couple of time zones over from you, and I was lit ten way to sunday for that one, too. Crashed at a friend's house (since we got blasted watching baseball the night before, and went down early), and Gameday was on by 7AM. Went out for breakfast before the first game started (fuggin sports bars in that hood didn't open before 9, which threw a wrench in the works), and pretty much planted my ass on the couch until Oregon's game ended. Solid 14 hour run...

but anyhoo, being that wasted with my bestest-football-watching-bud, we had a blast making fun of the fucking idiot that is Stave.

Didn't think to maybe try to get his team lined up against ASU, and that worked out so well for him he figured he'd take half of the last minute to line up for one play, when down 7.

Maybe someone should explain to both coach and QB what that fancy sign with the pretty lights on it at the end of the stadium is for.

Point is kind of moot, considering it was 4th down and the pass was incomplete anyway.

Good game, Goobs. Thought Wisky played a tough game and tOSU caught some breaks to win a close one. Abbrederis made Bradley Roby look silly most of the night. #44 Borland (Ohio kid) is an absolute beast. Think you are in good hands with Gary Andersen at the healm, definitely an upgrade from the prior staff. Good luck the rest of the way.

I’ll always have a warm spot in my heart for tOSU. I was born just south of Columbus and also lived there for a couple years in my teens. I have high hopes for our new coaching staff, and their chances for keeping up with Urban.

I thought Neckville was a different area than Appalachiaville, Ohio.

Sorry, for some reason I always associated NE and eastern Ohio as Appalachia. Kind of like when people everything in Michigan is near Detroit.
