Clicking over to it here and there, but since I dislike one team, and have a seething hatred for the other, I'll stick with ntOSU and Furd.
Maybe Stanford has enough depth to wear ntOSU down, but Furd not looking that good. Never underestimate Riley's ability to prep for a big game.

Kal's too gay to go for it on 4th and half an inch when they're winless against the FBS?
Too lame for words, and why they're losers.

I'm not watching that abortion since, you know, the World Series is on, but it seemed like Washington got off to a slow start since they weren't covering against Cal's 5th stringers by the end of the 1st quarter. Glad to see they've woken up a bit.

So Cal gets destroyed but still covers by half a point. God, I hate them. :|

Even more impressive is there is no traffic in this forum and we managed to post the exact same thought at the exact same time.

Papa Willie wrote:Honestly - UW's defense looked like shit last night.
To date this season, their secondary has been pretty sharp for the most part, even after losing Trufant. ASU kind of put the kibosh to that trend.
Ya'know, I figured with all the athletes Cal had, with a new coach who wanted to open things up and air it out, Kal might be good for a few wins - not many, but a couple. And so far, they've beaten a mediocre FCS team by a TD for their only win. I didn't see them competing for the division or anything, but never imagined they could be
this bad. Was Dykes really an upgrade from Tedford?

Today, I think Kal is still chasing after Sankey.

i'm not sure what Dykes did at T Tech that gave him the opportunity at Cal. i mean the coach before him did better and the coach after him is a fan fave and also off to a good start. his dad was a bit of a legend in the SWC....but mostly because he won 6 or 8 games in a top heavy Texas league. not because he actually won any titles. and he was kind of good ol' boy. kind of a throw back.
i remember hearing Dykes to Colorado on the homer boards and thinking they could probably do better. and then he gets the Cal job which is a decent job....recently.

Dykes was the HC at LA-Tech. His offense put up huge numbers and they beat a ton of mediocre and crappy teams. They almost beat ATM last year before the ATM defense made one stop. His defense at LA-Tech was crap, and they won by out scoring teams. It wasn't like he was playing against amazing offenses each week, rather his defense was horrible.
As an assistant at Tech he was raised on much of the same. All offense hardly any defense. Sure Taco Tech pulled the occasional win over Texas or OU, but could never do both in the same season to win a Big XII South title.
