If you have LSU anywhere near the top 10, you aren't keping up.

You don't know what you're talking about.
LSU beat Auburn, a unanimous top ten team.
And Auburn beat Ole Miss, a great team after beating LSU.
Try to keep up.

So what you're saying is LSU could beat itself. Maybe, but they wouldn't cover.

How awesome would it be as a sendoff to the BCS, if the 5 power conferences all offered up an unbeaten league champ?
Three teams would pretty much get hosed. Then again, under the 4 team playoff format, 1 team would still get the shaft. I'd pick Baylor to be that one... your opinion may vary.

Any time we're dealing with the Transitive Property of CFB, we need the final word from M2 before any statistical conclusions can be drawn.
But since Auburn beat Ole Miss, and Ole Miss beat LSU...
Obviously means Kal is the MNC.

In dealing with the transitive property of the SEC, the following logic shall be applied:
If Team A beats Team B, and
Team B beats Team C, then
Allow Team A, Team B & Team C all to have a ranking no worse than #12.

Only6 permissible if you put giant asterisks next to their name, and at the bottom, state:
* - THE SEC IS DOWN THIS YEAR!!!!!!

If Bama, FSU, Oregon all lose... twice... and so do Auburn, Stanford, Clemson, Mizzou, and Wazzu...
then maybe.

If Stanford beats Oregon and Alabama loses to LSU does that make FSU and Baylor the two best teams in the country?

Sort of a cause/effect thingy -- who can Baylor score on?
We've seen they can light up Northeastern Sisters of the Poor. Let's see what they do against a team that lines up against a full 11 man defensive squad who doesn't confuse a linebacker for a matador.

Well, we're about to find out because they play a top 10 defense in two days. I think they beat OU by a couple touchdowns.
What an epic Thursday night for cfb. Nice change from the usual MWC and Sun Belt tilts. Hope I get home in time for the start of Oregon/Stanford.

Well, most-likely that would be fairly entertaining, and we might actually get to see Baylor play its starters into the 4th quarter for a change. Then again, Phil Steele had Baylor's SOS at #22 pre-season - while Oregon languished at #58.
Now, I'm not about to suggest that Baylor has been overly challenged by their schedule to this point. But I'm not sure that you can hang your hat on the Ducks SOS either. UCLA and Washington?
Those are PAC teams, remember? At least Stanford plays D at a near K-State level and should threaten the Ducks cover well into the 4th...

Texas A&M could keep up with them. Although Baylor has a pretty good defense apparently, I think A&M would put up a bunch.
Thing is, Baylor wouldn't be scoring all those points in a game against Alabama or Michigan State.
People seem to forget things like high-scoring Oregon getting 19 points against Auburn several years ago. These teams rolling up 700 YPG wouldn't get those numbers against a good team.
The tendency is to assume Baylor and Oregon would score shitloads of points against
anyone, when that's not the case.
Actually, that IS the case.
Baylor WILL score points. Question is, would a 'bama or Sparty score enough points to keep pace? Think your Oregon premise would hold had they played the Barners at Autzen? And where the fuck does your ATM-love come from? Is it a West thing? Over-rated sumbitches can't stop anybody, and Mike Sam, Kony Ealy, Markus Golden, and Shane Ray are gonna run that cocky little Mansqueal right outta Faurot.
Baylor plays at
home tonight, Sammy, and they're gonna turbo-clock the Sooners if they get half the chance. They could also give up 50 if they don't value the ball. Waco has been a veritable Janet-Reno-led-attack-on-the-Branch-Davidian-compound to visiting teams this season - and I see no evidence that this will change just because the opposition happens to wear "OU" on the side of their hats.

First, the PAC is the best league this season... sorry, SECBSH.
As far as SoS - none of the top 5 has played Murderer's Row. But compare them all to this point, and Oregon's doesn't look so bad.
Oregon is going to destroy Furd.

I'm just hoping it'll still be worth watching the second half.
I'll be in the garage on my rowing machine for the first half. I'd be disappointed to tell the OL she can go ahead and keep HGTV on in the LR when I'm done.

Yep, gonna be a good evening for sure.
Jeeeezus. I just looked at Baylor's schedule:
http://www.ncaa.com/schools/baylor/football
Never mind what I said about them apparently having a good defense. They've played
no one. Okie State should be able to score with them. Maybe Texas Tech, too.
I would think Baylor would lose to Oregon by about 52-24. IMHO Bama would crush them as well.
Baylor could easily end up with 4 losses this year.
Drop Baylor from my top ten and add LSU, Auburn, Duke, or the top high school team in Texas.
Is that right...
Arrogant, blue-blood, blazing bag of fuck. Baylor's good, you old fuck-mudgeon.
You can jock 'bammer and Barner and the Johnny Footballs all you want, but Baylor is proving tonight that they would run 'em all out of the gym.
Let's see how they do against a top 10 defense...
Screw you and your ball-sucking SEC arrogance, Sammy. Roll damn Bears.

Apparently so. Which is why you now have a skirmish against Texas in the Alamo Bowl to look forward to after ASU takes its rightful place as the PAC #2 in the Rose...
