Atrocious play calling by both teams.

A little of that, but both defenses showed the fuck up tonight. Nice to see some of that - certainly in this conference.

FTFY

Although OU has been the exception... they just have no offense.

IT'S A SLUGFEST!

It amazes me that a blueblood program like OU can't find a QB with competent passing skills.

I like Baylor's defense. They fly around out there...but pretty undisciplined.

Baptists are gonna rape OU in the second half and then shun them tomorrow as sinners for partaking in the sex act.

i'm usually one to defend Stoops and Co to friends and coworkers....

i'm done with that bullshit...

Blake Bell is pathetic.

Our D was playing lights out , but because of our O being so inept, they're getting tired and sloppy and Baylor took advantage.

Huepel is NOT the answer.

31-5

Where you at, SEC honks?

Still think Bammer would hang? Barner? aTm? Y'all suck. Baylor would eat your souls....

Where's all the gayness coming from, buddy? I'm sitting here saying they look like one of the better teams in the country. OU's offense looks pretty shitty, and they certainly don't look like a top 10 team, but god damn dude!

Evidently the B12BSH'ering hasn't left your soul just quite yet...
Gayness? Sammy regards Baylor beneath contempt. I don't have a dog in this hunt other than to point out that our league ain't all that, Willie. Baylor's good; has been good all season; and would give every team in our conference a run for its money. S'all I've been tryin' to say. But some folks can't seem to see the obvious through their crimson and white shaded glasses...

SS is a reasonable guy. Something tells me (if he watched the game tonight) that he'll say he was wrong. It's true, though - Baylor hasn't played anybody until tonight. The Big12 is down this year. Again - Baylor looks pretty fucking good to me. Just sayin'...
Who's Auburn beaten? They lost to the only good team they've played.

Again - where did I say I thought Auburn would beat Missouri?
I dunno, Willie, where did you say you thought Auburn would beat Missouri?

My point, Willie, is that the SEC isn't the end-all/be-all that many of you SEC folks seem to think it is. There ARE other teams in this country that play a pretty good brand of ball.

Ain't mad at you Willie. Sam's arrogance and condescension got my Irish up tonight.

I hate to keep banging on Ohio St because it's not really their fault, but the closest they've come to playing ranked teams is Wisconsin & Northwestern - wins of 7 & 10 points respectively....

And, they play nobody the rest of the way.

At least the SEC teams have to play at least one good team in a typical season.

Three horse race - 'Bama - FSU - Baylor.

Hope all three finish unbeaten, along with tOSU, Fresno and Northern Ill.

You'd wanna see Fresno-Northern Illinois in the title game, wouldn't you?
No. I just want to see Bammer have to play one of them in a BCS bowl. And lose.

ass sex at Baylor. never sounds good.

i said OU was a 8-9 win team from the beginning. Sooners struggled with Kansas.

i would not pick Baylor over anyone in a BCS game.

kind of an art briles fan in principle....but OU is not a huge quality win. i was kinda surprised Sooners beat Tech at home. and then Tech gets assed in lub tex by OK State.

Why not? Lot of undeserving teams shy on football skills but high on glamor get to BCS games. Baylor would match up well vs anyone not named Bama or FSU.

But the difference between Baylor and your run of the mill video game spread team, is they appear to be able to play some defense. Rare combo these days. I would take them over most of the slapdicks ranked 5 through 15thish. Except maybe Stanford.

BU may be the best team on planet earth this year but both Oklahoma and Texas have lost the BCS game (and won loser BCS games) with better D's than Baylor and pinball O.

and BU is not the best team on planet earth this year.

until someone beats Bama. it's Bama.

:?

Shit conference? Not from this Mizzou honk. The XII is down - hell, everybody appears to be this year - but that doesn't mean Baylor is. Yeah, an old-man-football-style ballclub may give them their comeuppance in the BCS, but that doesn't take away from the best season the Bears have ever had.

Baylor looks almost mortal on the road. Should the good Oklahoma State decide to show up at Boone Pickens (as opposed to the indifferent or the uninspired Oklahoma State), I 'd expect the Pokes to put up a pretty good fight to end the Bears unbeaten streak. Survive that, and Baylor finishes 12-0.
