Has Barry ever heard of open enrollment?
It ended a few weeks ago for most of us.
Now this motherfukking clown has decided he will just say fukk it, you guys can keep your old plans that I killed, even though the train left the station, a long time ago.
Will companies now scurry to re-open open enrollment and offer plan mods so they can save a few bucks by dropping some of the ridiculous mandates?
A serious question to the Barry supporters. Do you still think this guy has the managerial aptitude to run ANYTHING?
Just how many times does he need to fukk up?
He has been successful at ANYTHING other than getting dullards to pull the lever for him, twice?
Is it possible to impeach a president for nothing other than general incompetence?

No.
Barry has no authority to move the goalposts the way he now wants to.
He and his entire life is FUBAR.

Not to worry Smackie.
Obumble just said insurance companies can keep offering the existing plans. His words however have no teeth. The insurance companies aren't being forced to keep those plans. Nor are state insurance commissioners forced to accept those plans. In fact some state commissioners, such as in Washington state, have already said they will not accept these substandard plans in the eyes of ACA, period. Nor are the insurance companies interested in keeping these plans from an actuarial standpoint.
Barry just opened his mouth but there was zero substance behind it. Now he can shift blame to the states or the insurance companies if people can't get their plan.

Ours is in March. Like Mikey I was unaware there was a set time each year where every company conducted open enrollment.

Re: Has Barry ever heard of open enrollment?
Our open enrollment ended at the end of October this year. It is for benefit changes that begin Jan 1. I was under the impression that all employers did it in the October/November time frame for benefit changes that take place at the beginning of the year.

Not to be overly nit picky or anything, but there are still a couple of weeks left in November for most of us.smackaholic wrote: I was under the impression that all employers did it in the October/November time frame for benefit changes that take place at the beginning of the year.
All that extra weight you're carrying must be robbing your brain of some necessary blood flow.

I think the lack of blood flow has more to do with massive erections.Mikey wrote:smackaholic wrote:It ended a few weeks ago for most of us.Not to be overly nit picky or anything, but there are still a couple of weeks left in November for most of us.smackaholic wrote: I was under the impression that all employers did it in the October/November time frame for benefit changes that take place at the beginning of the year.

Yes, I understand some open enrollments are in November. I recall mine being in November in the past. I suspect it got moved earlier to help deal with all the changes they have to implement thanks to the "better" coverage, barry has gotten us.
And even if it is open for another few weeks, there is no fukking way they could change things in time.

Don't know about any of that smackaholic, but the president DID say during his speech yesterday, "what we’re discovering is that . . . insurance is complicated to buy." Good to know.
FWIW, most health care Plan Years run 1/1 -12/31. They don't have to; a business can start a Plan Year at any time. But since most folks - including benefits coordinators - are more accustomed to thinking in terms of calendar years, you'll find HR-types this time of year cat herding their employees through the open enrollment process in a time window (October, November) spelled out in their Plan Document. Technically, a business with a 1/1 start date could set 12/31 as its renewal cutoff.

That drunken canuck chris farley clone would be a better candidate. AP would be a better candidate. Unfortunately, we are now a country with a voting majority of halfwits/gov. teat suckers.Diego in Seattle wrote:FTFYpoptart wrote:Republicans couldn't produce a better candidate, so America elected Eddie Haskell... twice.smackaholic wrote:A serious question to the Barry supporters.
