Yeah. Coastal Carolina, Geo Southern, & Chattanogga would be embarrassing enough as your pre-season warmups but this deep into the schedule warrants even more ridicule.

You're forgetting the SEspnC mantra, Dinsdale:

It's the Top 3, then it's everyone else.

Everyone Else begins with Ohio State. And the Top 3 can be any three teams, doesn't matter.

Define decent team.

Because I'm having a hard time finding many more on Alabama's schedule, based on the same vague definition .

The SoS debates are getting old. Every conference is basically constructed the same way. Two or three good teams, a slew of middling teams, and two or three bottom dwellers. Yet everything turns into a, "well, OUR 7-5 teams are better than YOUR 7-5 teams!"

Yeah, but in certain conferences, one or more of the top 3 teams have been losing to the middlings and bottom dwellers but, for some reason, still get more credit than they deserve. Which also gets old.

Yeah, I've been high on Stanford, but they don't belong in the current top 10. I could see how the Oregon win sort of mitigated their two losses, but then the Ducks went and got bent over by DickRod.

i agree. but the big ten invented that chit. the whole a roadie at Purdue or NWestern is serious football. that's classic jonbitch stuff.

every big ten fan i've ever known talks like that. and yeah i know jon wasn't an Iowa guy, allegedly.

i'm as tired as anyone of the whole SEC thing...and media fellatio that is fueled by the tv contract.....but somebody has to beat their best team to shut them up. the way they seem to accrue greatness on down the line is pretty gross. when Kentucky beats E. Carolina in a bowl game and the UK players are chanting SEC SEC SEC....that's pretty lame.

i went to an SEC school, grew up in Norman Oklahoma.....and i was shocked about how little coverage of ANY OTHER football games existed. In Norman, football coverage was about the what is relevant nationally....because OU was thinking that way. in Nashville, it was only regional and no light escaped.

weird and a little unpleasant to see that mentality exported from ESPN. but when you think about it, the Pac is hours late and the SEC is the highest population density football turf. not like anyone really cares in New England or NY.

west of the mississippi....less fannies in front of the TV....per capita.

So TheJON represents all Big Ten fans. Yeah, that sounds reasonable. In that case, toolio speaks for all Pac 12 fans.

I think conference roadies can be tough, even against the non-world beaters. Hello? Thursday night home dogs? This applies to all conferences. Middling teams tend to rise up and play above their abilities at home. You're also talking players and coaches who are familiar with each other, which can cancel out talent advantages... to some degree.

MSU beat the last SEC team it played in a bowl game. An SEC team that returned almost everyone from that bowl appearance and was one play away from beating Bama in the SEC ccg.

So go peddle that shite to a Michigan fan or something.

read closer. every big ten fan talks like that. from my good friend from iowa city at Vandy, to michigan grad who is at colorado for grad school (and there are a million of them)...who is my neighbor....and growing a goofy little beard to show he's cool and "Colorado".....it's all the same. my whole life.

purdue is great, NWestern is tough at home...but Missouri sucks.

blah blah blah.

big ten is the realest football ever. more pure, more white, more woody, more bo...you guys have access to some kind of football fandom the rest of the world doesn't get. the bands, the pagentry, the fat girls honking the tuba.

as such, you were the first SEC fan honk.

all i'm saying.

Nobody says any of that. You've been beating that drum (unsuccessfully) for years. In all this time, it's gained zero traction for you.

Oh, your neighbor talked some noise? :meds:

In reality, there's not a more self-loathing fan base than Big Ten fans.

So schedule more FCS teams down the stretch to get players healthy.

It really would be nice if the SEC decided to play by the same rules as other conferences.

You mean like playing conference games Week 1 and Week 2 of the season, as they do in the SEC? Isn't victories over Missouri State (2011), Tennessee Tech (2012), and Nicholls State (2013) enough to satisfy your FCS pathos? Ponderous, Dins...

It's never construed that way when they actually beat a team. Mizzou's lone blemish was a 2OT loss to SCL that shouldn't have happened. Every other game, they won handily. And their non-con games were all up front so you can't pull that card, which was an idiotic trump card to play in the first place.

Regardless, they control their destiny. And while I have no idea how they'd fare against Ohio State, I doubt they'd make Mizzou cry.

Why you be hating on us anyway?

For real?

You know those ended up on the schedule after teams chickened out and cancelled, right (like SEC teams, for example).

Got a FCS next year, too... thanks to a certain SEC neophyte growing a vagina.

BTW -- SEC scheduling smack doesn't apply to LSU. They man up when the opportunity arises.

Clemson lost by 37...at home.
Stanford lost to unranked Utah and Southern Kal.
Poke State dropped a home game to freaking West Virginia.
Arizona State lost to Stanford and the unranked, over-valued, fighting Sperms.
South Carolina lost to Georgia and a bad Tennessee team that got blown out by about 80 by Oregon.

And Mizzou? Why, they had the audacity to lose a double overtime game to ranked South Carolina.

Dumbass.

It's a certain kinsmanship that Oregonians share with us Missourians, Wags. After all: There would be no Oregon without us. Hell, we invented a trail just so we could properly found the state. 'Course, a whole shit-load of Calis have since moved in and fucked up the place, but our intentions were pure.

Dins would have you believe that Oregon's recent misfortunes are near Mizzou-like. I'd like to submit that our Tigers have never failed so spectacularly as the Ducks. When is the last time we opened the season ranked #2? If anything, the tragedies we have suffered as Mizzou fans is a almost Duck-like. We just haven't enjoyed the benefit of ranking those Losers have...

At the time, dick face?

After all: Isn't that how rankings are set?

Utah, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Tennessee are not currently ranked. You're just pissed because your bank of perennial cheaters are not apart of this year's conversation.

Mizzou would bury SC by 40. Pity both you and your team are both irrelevant to this year's discussion...

Lord-a-mercy! The way you swish your skirts, Schmicky! Keep that up, and you’ll draw your fellow Cali AP’s affections!

Pretty sure my diploma still reads The University of Missouri. Regardless, I’m still deciding whether to amuse myself by pulling your wings and watching you fap your feeble fly-brain on a glass table, or to go ahead and smash you outright and put you out of your misssouri misery.

Good take on accomplishment and vicariously living through strangers. Like you, I should subject non-custodial, pre-pubescent adolescents to 100-yard bear crawls before buggering them in the shower. Builds character, and clearly Jerry Sanduskey read your book. Oh, and whining about my divorce and all the balck cock my ex is now taking up the ass on an Internet full of, ahem, sympathetic strangers would be a bonus too.

But I’m not you.

Since you haven’t the faculties to follow college sports with any insight or alacrity outside of that insulated, cheating little cesspool we have all come to know as SC football, I’ll be happy to school educate bring you up to speed on Mizzou and the 2013 season.

Like it or not, Mizzou defeated a Top 10 Georgia, and two Top 25 programs in Florida and Mississippi, while compiling a 5-0 record on the road in the toughest Conference in the country. They lost – in double overtime – to the Real SC in another. The fact that the Dawgs, Gators, and Rebs folded like a Lane Kiffan hire or another over-rated Pac pre-season favorite is irrelevant. Mizzou beat the folks on their schedule.

Now, I realize reason and logic have no place in Schmick-world, and President Obama - for once in his term - would be doing this country a service by targeting an Ebola-primed, AIDS infected drone at your sorry, junky ass, but please spare the American taxpayer the expense and take your ignorance, lunacy and idiocy to another Board.

Or just kill yourself. Whichever is most expedient. TIA.
