You're comparing doctor-assisted suicide to mass murder? You really are senile.

With a bit of thought & planning, it would not be that difficult to put in a few safeguards to prevent abuse of a potential ruling that would allow an individual to be able decide when to eject due to a painful, terminal condition.

Not having that option is just primitive.

I think a full mental examination is in order for Jsc. First he lines up with the death penalty actually being carried out and now is honking for assisted suicide.

Maybe a bar investigation as well. His bleeding liberal cred is taking huge hits this week.

Maybe he just examines each issue on its own and reaches his own conclusions, rather than letting his political affiliation decide for him. You should try it sometime.

WTF do you hate the 10th Amendment so much?

You do know this is a states' rights issue, right? Has already been determined as such. America-hating asshole.

We've had doctor assisted suicide in Oregon since the 90's. And it comes into play a lot less than you'd think.

There's also a Portland about 45 minutes east of me. I stop through there for petrol and grub quite often.

My grandmother always said she didn't want to be kept alive if there was no hope. But when she was laying in a hospital bed with bull possession of her faculties and knowing she was nearing the end thanks to the massive stroke that had paralyzed the left side of her body and destroyed her ability to swallow...

She never said to pull the feeding tube. She never said to end it all. She fought through the very end. What finally killed her was the pneumonia. Her last day on earth was probably the most horrible thing I will ever see in my life. For more than 24 straight hours she lay in a hospital bed gasping for every breath like she was drowning. Which she was, in her own bodily fluids that were trapped in her lungs. She would have suffered longer but her doctors gave her morphine around the clock. I doubt it was for the pain. I think it was so that when her body finally gave out, that the process would be somewhat accelerated.

Yea, I'm for letting everybody make their own decision.

Laugh if you will, but...

See, we invented the modern illicit meth trade here. And it hasn't gone anywhere.

Tweekers need jobs, too. Given the choice between having my catalytic converter getting chooped off in the parking lot, or having Skeletor scratch up the paint around my gas cap, I'll take the latter.

Why would anyone want to have a "conversation" with a liar? You are completely full of shit. Not one fucking word of that is true.

You sir, are incorrect.

You're confusing the terms "doctor-assisted suicide" with "negligent homicide."

But the do-gooders haven't really thought this one through.

Liberals HATE the doctor-patient relationship, because they obviously know better, and are offended they can't be consulted about your health care.

Hyperbole bores you?

Sure, the stuff flying out of his oft-surgically-repaired ass smells a little, but lawyers always know best.

Lets not confuse people who are capable of making and clearly communicating that decision with those who are not.

Go fuck yourself. Lynn was a wonderful woman and was kind to me for over two decades. She was the mother of a friend, and even though it has been almost 10 years since she died, I still miss her very much. I don't give a shit whether you believe me or not, go fuck yourself.
Of course you're full of shit. I just went through in-home hospice with my mother in law. Everything you said is a complete fabrication.
Quite frankly, I doubt that this "Lynn" person ever existed anywhere other than your agenda driven imagination. It's pretty sad really.

Thanks for the "conversation."

Each pump has its own scraggly faced hipster assigned to it. I tip them in PBR.
