While he might be good for a few laffs, he is turd. Of course he took a few shots at FSU and Washington, since he couldn't get it done between the lines. 5-9-1 record vs FSU and a 12-20 record with the Redskins.

Oh, the one he back doored his way too?
Lost straight up to FSU in the regular season, then Texas upsets Nebraska in the Big XII title game. Arizona State then wets the bed and loses to Ohio St in the last minute. Steve then gets another shot at FSU and evens the season series. Never mind FSU, ASU, Ohio St and BYU all finished with the same 1 loss.
But yeah, a back door NC makes up for all of it. Whatever.

Oh, they know his record against FSU in Florida and the South. Sure a NC helps, but dude has a .3333 batting average against FSU.

Let's not forget that Spurrier is just as often as guilty as the programs he calls out for giving players a second chance.
He is also complete baby and if he doesn't get his way he will just take his ball and go home.
Case in point he got a writer thrown off the USC beat for writing this story.

That story was published in March of 2011, but Steve didn't bring it up until Oct of that year when he finally kicked his QB off the team. Nice smoke screen Steve. Days later when asked what part of the above story was untrue or wrong, his reply was no comment.
Classy, and typical for him.
