See if I got this right -- Chefs lined up in the "wildcat" (not sure that was the most accurate description), made a direct snap to the RB, and the Blots D couldn't figure out it was a run up the middle?

The defense was like dinsdale in bed for most of the game. Impotent and asleep. They did what they had to in overtime.

The NFL admits the refs blew that non-call, 7 men lined up to the right of center. Succop is 99% probable to nail a 2nd chance kick from 36 yards rather than 41.

Whatever, the result meant nothing to the Chiefs as far as playoffs or seeding goes... but if it had, this thread would go nearly long as the "the tuck rule" thread from TNW in days of yore. That was epic, 'tart was verklempt and Mace was his usual asshole self, pouring salt in the wound.

That said, the Chargers deserve to be in the playoffs. They lost some early season games that should've gone the other way.

And it's pretty cool that 3 AFC West teams made the playoffs... not in an "SEC, SEC, SEC," sorta' way, but because of how improbable that scenario is.

The only chance KC has of playing a home game in the playoffs is if it's against the Blots. That's even more improbable than Dins admitting Kevin Durant is who Portland should've drafted.
