Guy has been ripping up Jeopardy for a few days by using "unorthodox" tactics -- and has become hated across America.
Sample of massive Twitter hate for Arthur Chu.
- This guy Arthur on jeopardy sucks at life
- This guy on Jeopardy is pressing the clicker like a fucking psychopath
- FUCK ARTHUR ON JEOPARDY
- I wanna slap this Asian dude on Jeopardy
- This little shithead had better lose tomorrow. His board-hopping pisses me off. And he stole Kim Jong Un's haircut.
- What is "How to iron a shirt"?
His tactics are legal, yet apparently violate some unwritten Jeopardy mores.
If these "Jap plays" are effective, why have they not been employed by past contestants?
So the sneaky Asian has come in and said, "I don't give a shit. I'm just here to win," and round eye can't deal with it?
Make them hurt, Arthur.
I side with you.

He may be onto something. I seriously doubt if anyone will ever come close to Ken Jennings 73 appearances. Props to him if he is winning big $$. They are now showing the "Battle of the Decades" during ratings sweeps. I hope that IBM's Watson is not a contestant.

The only game someone from the special olympics can play and look smart.

Actually, it's a solid application of game theory-- something which can be useful in of life's circumstances. RACK Chu for doing something I am surprised nobody else has considered doing before. Think outside the box = winning.

He is kinda annoying, but the slope does have game. And I'll give him this - he gives the 2nd-place player going into final Jeopardy a chance to tie and therefore win $$ & play another day rather than bet $1 more & send them home with a right answer. One player already benefited from it, although he demolished her the next day, and he gave another the same chance but she got the final answer wrong. It won't hurt my feelings when he loses, but I ain't gonna be no playa haytah.
