I know that all of you on the board are hopeless sentimental and romantic folks..... So what are you planning for Valentines day? A sappy Hallmark card a dinner out, flowers or a six pack and a blow up doll?

Wife and I will be cooking a romantic meal together at home. Cockblock will be at grandparents because they have given up on sex. I'll get a bottle of the OLs favorite wine and some chocolates. Low key fun will be had.

Nothing really for the 14th. I have to umpire a high school softball game that night. Sunday afternoon we have reservations for two at Ruth's Chris at Coconut Point. Surf and turf sounding good.

I'm quite the sentimental fool about lots of things... the 1985 Royals, for instance. Japan surrendering on the battleship Missouri, for another. Having my requests played in Tune Town... sniff

But hopeless romantic, not so much. I've been married for 30 years, romance is a thing of the past. Not that I don't love her, tell her as much every day. And not that I have to, she knows it. I'd be lost without her and I think she feels the same.

With a loving role model like the Wagon Family, no wonder Daughter Wagon decided to try fuzz-bumping.

I appreciate your thoughts on this and don't totally disagree but don't get too carried away.

I'm decided to flip the script on Valentines day and break up with my girlfriend.

So this year when I drink too much, a complete stranger will tell me I'm making a scene for a change.

February 14 this year was our 25th anniversary and we spent a week in St Maartens. Wife wanted to renew our vows. I told her I meant it the first time. We rented a 50-foot sailboat for a sunset cruise and the captain did the honors.

Rack the Goobs. Ultimate T1B romantics. I truly hope you make it to 50 as MrsO and I have.
