She was spoiled rotten for her first eighteen years of her life, thus the frivolous lawsuit against her parents. She moved out of her own accord and her parents have no obligation to pay for her choice of schooling, as she is the one who turned her back on them. As soon as cops who arrest someone that walks are fired, and DAs who file charges that don't stick are stripped of their license and judges who make unconstitutional rulings are impeached then I'm down with that. Realistically, what could be done is sanctions could be imposed for losing a demurrer or a motion for summary judgement.

Alright, saying an attorney should be fired for said case is obviously an unrealistic stretch, but the examples you cited aren't quite the same thing. We're talking about plugging up the courts with absurd and frivolous lawsuits, costing ridiculous expenditures of money that are ultimately a waste of cost and time. So there should be some comeuppance for an attorney who files such suits and loses. Perhaps the entire proceedings should come out of his or her pocket.

A 'loser pays' system for civil litigation would sort that shit out pretty quick.

Cops who arrest people that are innocent and the DAs that prosecute them waste at least as much $ and also incarcerate people who didnt do anything illegal so I would say they are worse. Same with judges who twist the law to convict more people also waste $ and ruin lives.

Civil litigation is mostly a cesspool of fat cats fighting over a bigger piece of the pie. I have no stomach for most of it.

If you are talking about the English rule then you are flat wrong. There is no way that system would work here and it doesn't even work there very well. If you are talking about tx or Alaska those are not really even "loser pays" because the loser doesn't always pay or even get ordered to pay. Anything else that is stupid and unworkable that you would like to add you vapid jug eared Mexican?
