There are fights in college hockey, they're just not staged. See the end of the latest RPI-Union game this year. Huge brawl breaks out and even the coaches were going at it.
Fight in the NHL are lame. They're so staged. The rare fight that breaks out in college are intense and heat of the moment. Not like in the NHL, where it's "Oh, I guess I have to fight you now."
