I was cleaning out my camera this morning, one of the things you do when you are bored in a hotel room and the weather blows. Anyway, thought some of y'all might get a little enjoyment out of some of these, if not, IDGARA.
So back at the end of March the PGA tour came thru San Antonio and the wife and I decided to show up. We grabbed a two of these:

That got us access to the tent with free food and booze. We walked with front 9 with Brendon de Jonge, Justin Leonard and Michael Thompson. Then we stayed at 10 while 6 groups came thru. Then we headed to the tent to watch each group finish at 18. Some d-bag managed this epic photo of my wife and I with a camera and the flash.

On the benches were these cards with dire warnings:

For y'all's enjoyment I went ahead and took photos with the camera anyway. Here are a couple of views of the course from the box:
Green at 18 with the JW Marriott looming over the green:

The creek cuts thru the fairway and allows players to choose to play either the left or right side:

View back down the fairway where guys were hitting their 3rd shots from. The Tee is no visible from the green:

One of the first groups thru:

Crowd building for later pairings. The rocks to the left are where Phil had to take his shoes off on Saturday. Just after that he pulled out so he and his daughter could go to the Spurs game that Saturday evening:

A good golfer:

This guy had too much to drink I guess and yes he is passed out:

Then it was time to work and I caught a few of these from the air around the country:
Parting out???

One of my favorites this year descending into DFW:

Then it was off to the Troll Stop and I got these on the way home:

Then it was back to work and I got these later that week headed into PHL. Middle to middle right is the USNA:

Final approach into PHL:

Then the weekend before Easter the wife and I met in Colorado for one last ski trip of 2014. We skiied with friends of hers on Friday at Winter Park. Sunny warm day with temps pushing the low 60s:

The friends then headed back to Denver and we drove up to Steamboat. Skiied Sat and Sun there which were the final two days of their season. Nice day Saturday with temps in the 50s, then a blizzard hit Sat night into Sunday.
View from the Mtn into town on Saturday:

Similar view on Sunday between snow showers:

We then walked to dinner after snapping these sunset photos, weather about to change:

We ran into this guy on the walk to dinner:

Shots between squalls up on the mountain on Sunday. At times it was near white out then calm:

Ski jumping training center:

Sunday afternoon since the snow was so good we decided to extend our trip by a day, but since Steamboat was closed we relocated to Vail. The back bowls were awesome:
Making your own tracks is pretty close to heaven on earth:

Powder deeper than the boots:

Then it was back to work again and a few shots again from the air. The Seater's house is just above the golf course center of the frame:

Downtown San Antonio by day and arrival:

Downtown San Antonio last night on departure:
