John 2:23-25
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth
- God (Genesis 9:21)
Ephesians 2:1-3
And you hath he quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Upon leaving God, man became a vessel for evil spirits.
They take people for a very bad ride.
Confusion, oppression, and illnesses of many variety.
Disasters.
And ultimately, a man goes to the very same place the evil spirits go ---> and that's hell.
Upon receiving Christ, the entire thing does a 180.
The Holy Spirit enters a man and will never leave him.
True healing begins to take place.
Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise
