Bone up on your chemicals there rookie. You could pour gallons of that watered down shit on something and only stunt it back.Shlomart Ben Yisrael wrote:Guys, I'll be going away for a long time...
I'm declaring that I'm in possession of a weapons-grade chemical defoliant.
Roundup or glyphosate products are pretty much ineffective against anything by light grasses. After 30 or so years of use , I see huge resistance on many plant species towards this product. It will not even stunt annual ryegrass anymore.Shlomart Ben Yisrael wrote:Okay, okay...

So you are bitching about roundup not killing ryegrass and then you post about two herbicides that you like and but neither one kills grasses. How is that killing "everything it hits?"Derron wrote:It will not even stunt annual ryegrass anymore.
Takes out brush and woody plants as well as everything it hits.

Read the label you. Fescue and timothy are "senstive" to it. If you make a slight deviation from label, not that I never would, and drop a bit of glyphosate in the mix, the Cimarron will act as a carrier and do it very well or so I have heard.Moving Sale wrote:So you are bitching about roundup not killing ryegrass and then you post about two herbicides that you like and but neither one kills grasses. So in other words you were wrong. Got it.Derron wrote: Read the label you. Fescue and timothy are "senstive" to it. If you make a slight deviation from label, not that I never would, and drop a bit of glyphosate in the mix, the Cimarron will act as a carrier and do it very well or so I have heard.
There is ingredient in AO that is in 24D as well. Crossbow's AI has a chemical very similar to Silvex, which is a defoliant and is in Agent Orange.Moving Sale wrote:So in other words you were wrong. Dims,
24d is not agent orange it's an ingredient of AO.
Mmmmm no. 24d is a chemical. The only "ingredients" it has are molecules.Derron wrote:

Silvex is not a defoliant either. You are pretty close though. 24d + 245tp (also called silvex) = AOCrossbow's AI has a chemical very similar to Silvex, which is a defoliant and is in AO.
That's it's a bad idea to drop highly concentrated herbicides directly on top of troops.BarFlie wrote:We learned after nam...
