The Poly kids are out of town, for the most part, so it's pretty quiet here.

I was in Dallas this morning, San Angelo this afternoon, and up to Abilene in time for dinner. I saw lots of oak and mesquite today, and a few wind turbines.

A co-worker went to a tractor pull over the weekend in Tomah, Wisconsin. Ran into Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito there. Weird.

Talked to Mark Grace Saturday night. He is hitting coach for our local Single A Hillsboro Hops team.

While it may occasionally rain a little at the end of June(right before Sahara Season starts), in one corner of one burb, it dumped about 2" in about an hour. That was, naturally, the spot I was in at the time. Made driving around interesting. Nice to have the water, though, since it probably won't rain again until October.
