Too bad I'll be in my favorite American city in Canada a month from now. All our friends to the north, head to the Beer Store and get some malt training elixirs. Have a joyous Canada Day and don't forget the GST and PST.

Does Canada make any decent beer?

Speaking of decent beer....
Founders has a lawnmower beer. Good stuff. It's even available in cans.

Labbat 50 used to be deece. I remember a Labbats IPA that wasn't bad. Moosehead was nice.

I used to drink Labatts back when I still drank Miller. Moosepiss is some God-awful dreck.

...except for Goobs.
I hope that while touring the Acme Dildo Company, a giant crate of black dildos falls off the shelf and crushes you.

Sorry that the truth is so painful. But you probably never have to stomach the caribou piss that is Canadian beer. You undoubtedly drink wine spritzers, pinky extended.

For some reason I felt compelled to buy a 6er in cans a couple weeks ago. It sucked. If I want Founders, I'll just stick to the tap from the brewpub that's 5 minutes down the road from me.

Marty,
When Goobs tries to ruin your day by trying to run down the proud tradition of Canadian beer, just remember one thing.
Goobs waxes his ball sack and normal people don't

What about the funeral home brewery on Lake Drive? Do you ever go there?

I assume you mean Brewery Vivant on Cherry St. It's okay. I'm a fan of Belgian style beer, but I think Vivant is overrated (at least in terms of how much locals rave about it). The pub itself is really cool, but I'm not a fan of the communal style seating. It's within stumbling distance though...so there is that.

I prefer bottles to cans, but craft beer in cans vastly improves the golf course experience.

Goobs waxes his ball sack and then washes it with Molson Golden
FTFY.
