So it has come to this. The only pet here should be a PET, and speaking of, where is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame PET ? Smackie, 88?

A pet PET?

Tyson, my Toy Fox Terrier. Absolutely the sweetest, smartest dog I've ever had the pleasure and responsibilty of looking after. Adopted him from a no kill shelter last year, just spent $200 at the vet getting his yearly what such taken care of. I wouldn't spend $200 on my wife for her birthday, which is July 4th.
Do the math.

Nice looking cat, Marty.
Very nice of Charlie to let you live in his house.
Nice dog, also, Wagon.
This thread has a bit more potential than a "Hey, look at my tree" thread.
Although Derron and Dinsdale did learn me a lot of things in that thread.

Marty isn't angry, he's just confused sometimes.
He confuses me anyways.
The world needs more like him so people have good reason to renew their Xanax 'script.

I like your dog, Spray. Cute dog. He's about the size of a W/D combo, obviously wouldn't fit in my apartment.

He's a good ol' boy. Never had a beagle before; he's turned out to be a good one. Great temperament, pleasant personality. Solid jungle dweller.

He's maybe 3-4 lbs overweight, but is in pretty good shape. He's dropped some weight over the past few months.

Jake is the best dog, sweet loving easygoing and not really fat. The camera just adds a few pounds!

Jake the beagle is such a cutie. Don't know that I would ever own a beagle, a friend had one that was food obsessed. But all dogs have their issues.

We have to watch how much we feed Jake, but I wouldn't say he's obsessed. Just has a healthy appetite.

The very first family pet was a beagle. Great dog, very smart, but sometimes seemed a little bi-polar, in a canine way.
Loved to jump on the windowsill and smush his nose into the glass as a way of saying he wanted inside.
Don't know that I would own another one though, as I really like Labs, especially Gold ones. Had a gold lab/german shepherd mix and that was an amazing dog. Whip smart, very athletic and endlessly playful.

That is good. This dog I was talking about would go to great lengths to get food. My last dog, who I miss so much was very polite that way. He loved carrots and apples, which seemed to keep him slimmer. He would not touch food that wasn't "his."
I really love dogs so much. But my husband isn't ready to let us get another one, yet.

Jake's polite as well, and likes carrots, too. He does like what we eat, but waits until we give it to him.

Jake never has been much of a hunter. The instinct is there, but he wasn't gifted with innate skill and hasn't "hunted" anything other than the local squirrels & rabbits, never successfully. His value lies elsewhere. I'll let you know when I determine where that it is.
