See, 'round these parts, you can't swing a dead burro without hitting a Mexican. With an abundance of Mexicans, comes an abundance of burrito joints -- both brick-and-mortar, and the kind with pneumatic foundation... yummy, delicious burrito joints. I guess as far as national chains go, they aren't horrible, but I just can't bring myself to go to one with the myriad burrito joints around (and the best I've found is walking distance from my house).

So, in short -- I'm jealous of your lack of Mexicans, and not even slightly jealous of your dinner selection.

But there's another dem that fits this profile. That of the professional student. The guy who spends as many years in school as possible, in pursuit of one worthless degree after another. I could give two fukks about what they put on the bags. As chains go, I like them. I am sure that in places with a messican infestation problem, there are better options, but here in whiteytown, they are pretty good. Goobs, it sounds like you have a shit chipotle out there in cheesehead land. The ones I have been to here in the civilized part of the country are good IMO.

I like the whole KISS concept of the place. You can build the entire place for about 12 bucks and the menu is extremely limited. this keeps operating costs very low so they can spend a little money on pretty good shit. It is sort of what mcD's was back when goobs was middle aged.

McD's was great......for what it was, which was cheap, fast and simple. Hell, even I remember "change back from a dollar" for a small fry, burger, soda. Fukk, I'll bet you remember "change back from a quarter". Somewhere along the way, they strayed from that formula and are now the suck. 5 guys has filled that niche pretty well.

And as for any (alleged) man crushes on long dead politicians, wtf does that have to do with anything? Of course "having to do with anything" is optional in this sordid clambake. :grin:
