Last week the wife and I decided to take a few days and go somewhere before I got busy with the football season. She started looking for plane tickets that were reasonable with a few days notice and Savannah was at the top of the list. So we flew into and out of Savannah and drove up to Charleston and worked our way back into Savannah. It was hot and humid with lots of afternoon rain, but a good trip overall.

We rented a boat and cruised around Charleston Bay and Flipper and his family was everywhere.

Pairs of these fast boats were everywhere on the bay that day, maybe 6 pairs total

Nice. You seem to be on perpetual vacation. Isn't that one of Zyclone's secondary craft?

Not perpetual, just frequent short trips.

Fist off, who here doesn't love a PET? Probably because we enjoy them in earnest, and we're really that starved for board entertainment.

And yours is everything a PET should be (except naked pics of the OL... I thought that's where the jorts pic was going).

I've seen that multiple times bay/ocean fishing -- I don't think the craft was disabled and needing a tow, I believe that they do that to practice for rescues. I'm not sure of that at all, but I've seen it enough that it seems to be the case, and I've seen the craft in tow go into its slip under its own power... leading me to believe it's a dress rehearsal.

And the USCG doesn't get enough credit (I did a bunch of work on a USCG station several years ago, it seems to attract good people. They even let us play in the base basketball tourney). They saved asses twice here last weekend. Once nearshore salmon season starts (about a month and a half ago, but really gets going about now), and the deep sea tuna fishing (going to peak soon) gets rolling, those fuckers have their hands full, and do their job with excellence.

That's all he's got? The Trailblazers' owner owns the largest privately held/personal boat in the world. Was pretty neat when he parked it across the river from the arena he was bankrupting and leaving the city with a huge bill for

RACK the PET.

All my pics have been pretty random lately, but I'll see what I can do.

From what I understand that isn't all dude has. That is one of his three personal boats. But dude also owns Carnival Cruise Lines and other lines under that so dude has some pretty large boats.
