Stepping up against a So Dakota team that managed 4 wins vs top flight competition last year. Look for the upset.

Sounds like somebody's jelly his team doesn't play any marquee non-con games. Rather, just a big bowl of mediocre.

I wasn't talking to you, but feel free to direct all of your insecurities my way.

Disagree. I would rather play a top 10 team and 2 scrubs than 3 bad-to-middling FBS teams. The week of hype and buildup for that one game is a lot of fun, and it attracts a ton of eyeballs around the country.

Gameday will be in Eugene. I haven't regularly watched that show in years, but a lot of people still do and getting the ESPN hype machine behind your team never hurts.

You do realize that South Dakota was a late substitute after ATM chickened out, right?

Got left with shitty games after Georgia chickened out, too. Pretty frustrating to schedule tough, only to have some team from the No-Fly-Zone leave them hanging down the road.

No, I didn't factor that in. Color me not surprised if sec is involved.

True. So I guess it's only positive for MSU. Works for me.

Problem with Game Day at West Coast spots is that it starts at 6 am. Who the hell is up at 6 on Saturday let alone up, at some stadium and psyched?
They've been to Eugene generally every season for the last several. Maybe not jam-packed, but there's always a few people drunk as fuck at 6AM... maybe they're still up from the night before?

Gonna be a fun one (I won't be going, several friends are, tix are hard to come by right now). Hopefully, a bunch of Sparty fans make the trip and make it a party.
