Half the top 10 is SEC. That's gonna kill Milton Light.

At this point of the season, based on what I have seen, the only teams in the SEC teams there isn't at least a case for being in top 10 there is Bama and LSU, despite previous seasons accolades. In a few weeks when SEC teams have two and three losses and still hanging around #12-15 in the country is when I will be melting down . . . Per the norm.

5 Auburn
6 Georgia
7 Michigan State
8 Ohio State
9 Texas A&M
10 Baylor
11 UCLA
12 LSU
13 Stanford
14 USC

Auburn better not overlook Kstate on a Thursday night. Auburn should win that game but they aren't going to be shell shocked by the spread like so many of Auburn's other opponents.

Wait...Bill Snyder actually scheduled a good team in the non-con?

I was wondering how Mizzou dropped out after winning in convincing fashion.

'spray, I think you're a cool dude and this is just nitpicking, but why in heck do you find it necessary to put a period in every thread you start? That annoys me no end and makes you look irrelevant.

Why bother even clicking on said thread, you've already ended the discussion. Or to put it another way, have you ever seen a newspaper article of any kind that used a fucking period in the headline?

For the sake of Goobs waxed balls, please make it stop.

This, from a post in which you bitch about the use/misuse of punctuation?

It's so rare you ever say anything intelligent.

But dang, a lot of people are still really high on Stanford. Do these people understand half their team from last year now plays on Sundays?

Gaffney, Murphy, Skov, Gardner -- big shoes to fill. Combine that with an inconsistent QB, and I'm not seeing the dominant force of the last few years... but let's play the games anyway. They've been loading the cannon well lately.

I actually couldn't agree more with that.
Of course you wouldn't. That would completely negate way too much bias in your favor.

Stroke or not -- he makes a valid point.

The B1G Network is taking bids for sale.... gee, wonder who will "beat each other up" as "the best conference" after a few billion dollar deal?

If you SECBSH's wonder why we laugh at you... just wait. You'll understand soon.

Props on setting a trend, but if you think you've monopolized financial interests....

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!!

Over the next 10-15 years, I see this as a trend the SEC started (props). And props for playing good football Look forward to seeing anemic B1G teams in the polls, with a 3-3 Michigan/tOSU always there, with the rationale of "well, they're .500 in the Mighty B1G, so they MUST be good."

It's just that Southerners aren't smart enough too see it. I'm well at grips with "PAC-Love."

Is it okay to vote Oregon #1 now, Dins?

Such a homer call on my part I know. Everyone is well aware of my deep affinity for Oregon, all Sooners for that matter.

might have been scheduled by the Ron Prince era. Snyder made it perfectly clear when he got re-hired that he was trying to get out pretty much any tough OOC games on the existing schedules...and there were a couple they couldn't seem to shake off...that he grumbled about. and basically did this presser with a big smile on his face. classic, in a way. Auburn may have been one of those.

unless they've changed in the last couple-three years, KSU also has a very fast artificial surface. it's almost astroturfy as opposed to today's synthetic play-like-grass but cheaper to maintain fields. should be a fast track for that one. the kind of shoes you wear and such. different kind of lateral movement/speed with almost a flat shoe soul surface or softer "cleat". just a minor point...but hey. it's something KSU has done on purpose...which can be a factor for visiting teams. but they may have switched, i admit i didn't see last year's OU@KSU game and don't keep up with the Cats facilities news. :)
