Don't judge country by the shit you hear played on FM stations in your area. Most of that is crap. There is much more to the genre.

Why wouldn't it be included in a list of the top 100 songs of the year? Now if the list was specific to pop or R&B or rock or, but for a top list it prolly should be included.

Eric Church's Cold One is worth giving a shot even if you dislike country music. It's got a great hook and an organ in it. Damn good song.
