Well good news R-Jack is here to defend you. Anyway, I'm only 6'2" now that the disks in my back have deteriorated and I still wear size 14 shoes. BTW, I used to have K-Swiss shoes and they are well-made and last for eons.

You fishing with them is testament to how good they are made. Probably one of the best shoes I've owned.

Agreed. I've worn the ever living fuck out of those amazingly comfortable K-Swiss fuckers for a very long time. A finer sneaker you won't find.

I got a couple of freebie pairs several years ago -- one became MIA (I drink a bit), the other are now the most comfy deck shoes ever.

And I guess what they say is a myth (but holds true in my case).
