oh my, Colorado State taking a W out of Chestnut Hill? schmick?

and that sucks a lot Tennessee team (according to spray) making UGA play all 60 minutes at the home of the Dawgs.

#12 UGA. hooray.

predicting some transitive property magic here.....from secbsh. either UGA is great or awful, hard to know with the bsh magic. same with s. carolina.

and wyoming, "they play some d"...and the almighty Craig Bohl (who was crap as a DC at Nebraska)...says dinsdale. they gave up 52 to sparty.

who makes WYO's schedule? UO and MSU in the same year? tough sledding. windy enough up in laramie.

I was a lot more impressed with Wyoming's offense than their defense. They connected on some big plays in the air and on the ground.

Way to go Ped State. Getting worked at home against arguably the worst team in the B1G. That James Franklin sure can coach.

wyoming's previous coach was dave christianson.....former mizzou OC under Pinkel in his pre SEC apotheosis born into magical lands where the spread isn't gay but awesome..... he surely recruited some throwers and catchers and put some system in place.

wyoming has been a decent football school in the west for a long time. and a stepping stone for some real coaches.

Everybody (except me) assumed that Stanford's defense would step down at least a notch this season after loosing so many starters (and Derek Mason). So far, though, they've been scary good. Sure, the two shutouts were against cupcakes, but they gave up a total of 291 yards to SC and 179 yards to Washington. Of the 26 points scored against Stanford in 4 games, 7 were due to a fumble return yesterday. They lead the FBS in total defense, pass defense and scoring defense.

True to what is becoming a pattern, though, the offense seemed ready to give the game away yesterday just like they did to SC. They move the ball pretty well but make big mistakes and can't seem to put points on the board. Not sure what the problem is, but Mike Bloomgren needs to take some responsibility here. He has good talent to work with but they aren't getting it done. I had a feeling Stanford would miss Pep Hamilton when he followed Andrew Luck to Indy, and it looks like I was right.

Next week at South Bend will show if Stanford is for real or if they're really just a middle of the pack team this year. I'm pretty sure Golson won't be completing 25 consecutive passes. Meaningless game as far as the PAC12 race is concerned, but they need a win against the Domers to regain some cred. Even with the loss to SC they still control their own destiny in the conference, if they can run the table the rest of the way. It will be interesting to see if they're ready by the time they go to Eugene on 11/1.

Yeah, my Lions absolutely sucked ass yesterday. However, you can't judge Franklin as a coach on this game. This year, PSU is suffering the most from the sanctions. They are woefully thin at many positions, most notably the OL. They may only win 1, maybe 2 more games this year. Next year will probably be a .500 season... The OL is THAT bad and thin.

But hey, PSU has a legit shot at UM in 2 weeks.... and that makes me smile.

That may be just enough to win the B10 outright.

Because they'll be playing Big Ten teams mostly.

You are correct, sir!
We can go in circles about this.

I believe this is exhibit "C" in my anti-SEC typical propaganda piece.
