So you're a "I voted for this idiot who should be concerning himself with why business is leaving California loser."

Well, it's nice to see that California is so squared away that it can afford to waste time and money on penny ante bullshit like nagging people over what kind of shopping bags they can or can't use.
"Good job."

They outlawed plastic in retailers over 5000sqf (IIRC) in the city of Portland a few years ago. If I show up at a friend's house after coming in from the burbs (I'm within a couple of miles of the city limits) with some brewdogs, they ogle over my chic plastic bag, and keep it for food storage, or whatever the hell they do with them.

So with that said, you won't shop somewhere that voluntarily only offers you one choice?

Over here, they charge you for the bags.
Personally, it's worth 50 cents to choke a fucking seagull to death.

50 cents?
Out here it's five to choke a seagull. Who says you can't get a bargain in Cali?

R Jack, why deflect? (weak) Should we not get a choice in the bags we use? I use the plastic at least twice. Unless they have food/meat leakage, then they get thrown into the proper trash can. Which, by the way, are totally biodegradable. If we have reusable bags, do we not have to wash them if they get dirty? Isn't there an extreme drought here in California?
As an animal lover, I would not throw anything into our waters that would affect wildlife.
You're an idiot for even trying to troll over this one.

It is important to double-bag in order to prevent meat leakage.

I recycle mine. I don't own a dog so I really don't have anything to use them for once I put away my groceries.

These bags are heavy duty, have handles, and are made for re-use.
Then they shred them up and feed 'em to cute baby ducks.
