1) What board member do you think has the highest IQ?
I'm not talking about -----> best Google-searching ability.
Natural intelligence.
Who is it?
2) Who do you think has the lowest?
Btw...
Is there anything shameful about having a low IQ?
It's natural, and what you are born with.
3)What member do you think epitomizes... average IQ?
1,2,3.
Give that a shot.

Screwy has the lowest IQ by far. "Journalism" is a seriously low wattage occupation in the first place and he is the scum scraped off the bottom of that barrel. He's barely even literate. It's like being an accountant who can't add or subtract.

Really hard to answer those questions when we haven't met everyone.
That said I will limit my possible answers for smartest to those I have actually met. Smartest among those would have to be 88. Dude knows a ton about a bunch of different subjects. Have had some great conversations with him over the past couple of years.
On the other end this is based completely off of the image they "play" here. Who knows if they are like this at all in their everyday dealings with others. Honestly, I doubt they are. If they are they are in serious need of counciling. See Jon, m2, Schmick, etc.
Average? Hell that would be pretty much everyone else.

Mensa's requirement for membership is a score at or above the 98th percentile on certain standardised IQ or other approved intelligence tests, such as the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales. The minimum accepted score on the Stanford-Binet is 132, while for the Cattell it is 148.
High School, College and Military tests put me in the 98th percentile... you dumfuks

Interesting question. On the whole, just surviving in here must demand a higher level of intelligence than probably most other places. Many of us date back way before your average junior high punk had access to a computer. I did pretty well on standardized IQ tests over the years, but don't consider myself exceptionally smart even though my brain seems to be chock full of useless information. I doubt many if any of us can really understand stuff like quantum mechanics and string theories. Leave that to the astrophysicists. We can stick with the really important stuff like (your answer here).

I hit 98-99 (98th was a disappointment) on every such test I ever took. They singled me out in grade school and beyond for TAG shit, which I quickly bailed on, as it cut into my slacking time.
I agree with Lefty. I think people have their schtick here. If MS was as dumb IRL as he acts here, he wouldn't be able to operate a motor vehicle, and possibly couldn't correctly operate a toilet unassisted.
It is possible that Screwey really is as dumb as he seems here.
Poptart's devotion to a theory that's pretty well been proven to be untrue bring his intelligence into question.

Yup.
And some of us have the certificates to prove it. But everyone
thinks they've got it going on.

In HS I was a letterman, first string on the wrestling team and co-captain my junior year. I am a born leader.

In HS I made the JV tennis team without ever touching a raquet, threw peanuts at the color guard during practice and Bill Hicks was on Letterman more than I was in my senior year geomotry class. I was one of those, "so brilliant school bores him" type.

Actually, my brother got a perfect score on the SAT. I got an average score.

Highest IQ: Mace. His "common man" shtick has been very well played over the years. There is brilliance so deftly hidden that few on this board have been able to identify it. Might be a genius.
Lowest IQ: jtr. A dumbass.
Average IQ: Dinsdale. Classic insecure overcompensation in this thread. Slightly sub-average, and knowing it. I've generously bumped him up a notch so that he can sit as the board representative of mediocre intellect.

I can bust out paperwork that proves you wrong.
Anyone else here that can say the same?
Yeah, didn't think so.
But should I really even bother with a guy that thinks a dude in the sky planned out a neat little living play for his own amusement and had his lackeys write it down for him, because he was apparently incapable?

Nah.
I'm not the slightest bit insecure, and I sure the fuck don't get any less secure when I log on to anonymous internet boards.
Although you starting this thread seems to reveal a bit of insecurity on your part (<--- we need a ruling from the KC judges here).
That, or you're an evil bastard that foresaw some smack flying... one or the other.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Marty as a contendah for highest IQ here?
I assumed his name would come up within the first 3 or 4 posts.

What a coincidence. I got 137 on the military IQ test they gave me when I was 20yrs old. Lost a lot of brain cells since then though.

Not sure what the highest possible score is, but the highest achieved is 230 by Marilyn vos Savant. The highest achievable on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale III (WAIS-III) is 155. Average IQ is 100, and in the US, a standard deviation (SD) is 15-16 points (I'll use 15 for simplicity's sake). This means that ~68% of the population falls within one SD, meaning ~68% of people have IQs from 85-115. Roughly 96% have IQs within 2 SDs of the mean (70-130), and about 99% of people have IQs within 3 SDs (55-145). Vos Savant's is about 8 SDs higher than average. She's so smart, it's a wonder she doesn't post here. Perhaps Dins scared her off.
