Snapped a few pics on my drive up to Harbor Springs. Weather was cloudy and rainy...no surprise for this time of year.

Interesting looking house considering the landscape. Not my style, personally.

Day 2 weather was a mixed bag, but pretty decent for the most part.

Rack it.

Expect toolio in any second to remind us how much better the left coast is.

Excellent pics, Mgo.

Autumn in the midwest.

Just can't beat it!

Only trouble is, 10 minutes later it is a cold gray hell for months.

One of the few things I miss about central NY is the fall foliage. Nice photos of it where you were.

Excellent pics. Western/North Michigan is flat out beautiful country. Miss my times spent there.

Mgo, rack you for bypassing Manistee and Muskegon.

I think of it as more of a "haunting" beauty.

As for the "cold gray hell for months," that's definitely true for the natives, but a lot of the people up there are are your wealthy seasonal types who have no clue what "winter" is. Freaking weather pussies. :brad:

Actually I passed through both because I wanted to connect to M-22 along the lake shore all the way up to Leelanau Peninsula before cutting down to Traverse City. Manistee is a bit rednecky but seems all right. Muskegon sucks absolute dog balls.

Very nice, MGO, but I would be even more impressed if you made it all the way up to Copper Harbor.

True, could be Ontario - it's depressing. Like being asked for your last meal.

Excellent tree colors.

I thought The Netherlands would have a spectacular autumn.

So far the leaves have only turned to a baby-shit yellow.

It is sort of a last meal, isn't it? I guess g0d does have a little pity on he. He throws us a two week long technicolor bone, then hits us with 5 or 6 (or 8 if you're an upper messican) of black and white with a pinch of brown.

what an asshole.

toolie, sorry, but you dudes just can't hang, color wise. everything east of the plains has bode. only possible exception being colorado aspens. those fukkers do put on a nice show.

Well, Milton, the difference is that MGO actually went there and took the pics rather than google a bunch of shit you've never seen from your semen crusted perch in the public library.

Nice pics, Mgo. Heading up to Harbor Springs with the family in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the colors are still on the trees.

Nice. If you need a place to watch some cfb there's a chop house/sports bar called Vernales on Hwy 119 in Harbor Springs that opened in May. It's about as good as it's going to get for game viewing up in that area.
