Not sure I'd call those numbers "better," but they're good.

The freshman can pass... Braxton.
Not so much.
It's a no-brainier.

Good homer thread, 88.
A coach who puts a lot of stock in loyalty and playing his veterans would obviously put Miller right back in the starter role next year. Meyer has already said that Miller is his guy next year, but that could change if tOSU wins out.
I think the ceiling is higher with Barrett taking the snaps, the offense is much more dynamic. His improvement over the last four games is impressive, his reads are better than Miller's, he's not a run-first QB which is what I prefer.
I appreciate all that #5 has done but you gotta play your best cards in this game.

If dude is an 8th year SR why would you assume he would be healthy all season?

You would know better than I, but I heard that this injury is very similar to the one suffered by Chad Pennington which basically ended his career because it didn’t allow him to throw the ball with any velocity.
Even if that’s not the case, I think Urban needs to have a sit down with Braxton and tell him that OSU needs his play making ability on the field, but not at QB. It’s a beneficial move for both parties because Miller was never going to make it in the NFL as a QB, his best bet is to make it as a skill position player, likely WR. So OSU keeps a dynamic option at QB and has another dynamic option at WR who could also be used in the return game.
Here’s some gloves, Braxton. Get used to them.

Less rapes (allegedly), too.

I will always be a proponent of playing the QB who can throw a forward pass. It's kind of a vital aspect of the position.
So right now I'd say Barrett. But we'll learn a lot more around 11:30 p.m. on November 8th.
