In at least one precinct in San Antonio the republican candidate wasn't included on the ballot. Instead it included the republican candidate for Lt Governor, for which you couldn't select anyway.

The heavily democratic leaning county officials immediately went with the excuse of the photo had to have been photo shopped. That was quickly dismissed and the machine was taken out of service. The person who brought this to light voted about an hour and a half after the polls opened.

As of 5:00 pm the State is involved and is trying to determine if the error was intentional or just a data entry error.

Due to the photo ID requirements now in place, the ballot box can't be stuffed, so I guess they needed to find a new way to get over.

Not much surprises me anymore.

Yes and no. The demographics keep getting more and more to the left of center. What with the climbing Hispanic population and the influx of people from Cali and other west coast areas. But if the Dems keep running out unelectable candidates like the did for governor it won't change. Take yesterday's results in the race for governor. Democrat Wendy Davis (propped up by DNC money) couldn't even win in San Antonio and Houston, much less her home town of Ft Worth.

If the Dems can't even win the major urban areas they have no shot overall.
