408 yards in just 3 quarters.

New record for a game.

The guy is unreal and will walk away with the Heisman.

Rack Melvin.. great effort..
However, don't be fooled that Joe Average back couldn't do the same against Pelini and his pussified defense..

Was at the game. Nebraska was up 17-3 in the 2nd quarter. Before Wisky put up 56 unanswered. The Northwestern game pisses me off more and more each week. Melvin had 5 runs of more than 40 yards, and another that went 39. Awesome.

Wins against Wisconsin and Notre Dame. Losses against the likes of Cal and Michigan. That's Northwestern for you.

When these teams get together, Wisconsin treats Nebraska like a low level MAC school. Pelini has no answer for Wisky's downhill rushing attack. A 5-loss Badger team hung 70 on the Huskers in the 2012 ccg.

MG3 might be able to roll up 500+ on Ohio State's run defense and still lose. 8)

Rack that. I'd rather watch a porn staring my parents than watch ND's offense at this point.

Rack Gordon and Whisky. What I don't get is Nebraska handled the Northwester team that beat Whisky. Nebraska bitched the team (Miami) that about toppled Jameison and FSU... yet look like bitches in Madison. Da fuck? Coaching.... Coaching.. Coaching. Bo's a great D coordinator but headcoach? not-so-much. NOt until he casts aside his stubborn loyalty to shit assistants. Makes ya wonder if Bo INSISTS on being the smartest guy in the room and therefore, won't hire good, competent assistants.

And it would have been nice if any of the Kansas players actually laid a hand on him. Props for taking the record, but Gordon actually broke some tackles to get his. In all fairness, I only saw the highlights, but Perine was pretty much untouched.

Weird stats for this cat. Against Texas and Tulsa he had less than 3.5 yards per touch. Had only 67 yards on 18 carries against UT. Has 71% of his season totals against three teams.

Gordon is a beast, but let's give (most of) the credit where it is due...his offensive line. Those are the guys that make it happen. Those are the guys who go on to play on Sundays. Let's see if Gordon can buck the trend of Wisky RBs flaming out in the NFL.
