No doubt a nice car, fast and all that.

Back in the day when the Mustang was a car for the masses, and the masses could afford it, they sold like crazy. People could even afford the Shelbys. Nowday's a Mustang a bit above base is close to 50K or better, this Shelby will probably hit 70 to 80K. Hope they have good margins, because the sales numbers are probably going to be anemic.

There is a 60ish guy rolling around town in a 2012 Saleen convertible, bragging about it, and actually telling people he was making a payment on it. Up town one day at a stop light we did kind of a rolling start and my 94 GT just cleaned his shit hard. He will not even look at me going down the road now.

It's not just about margins. The makers really don't care to sell that many. With current gov. regs, it would kill their CAFE standards they are required to meet.
